가로 스크롤

Kim & Chang has a well-established clerkship (internship) program for law students to play a meaningful role in firm matters.  Our clerkship program is designed to provide law students with training and insight into working at a premier law firm in Korea specializing in international transactions and legal matters.

Law students are expected to engage in work similar to that performed by a first or second year associate at the firm, such as drafting memoranda, preparing transaction documents, and conducting due diligence. Law clerks will also be asked to do translations for client memoranda and meetings and trial preparations. In addition to learning from work assignments, clerks can also benefit from the firm’s lectures, social events, and educational sessions that have been designed to provide insights into the legal profession, as shown in the photos below.

In our selection process, we pay close attention to academic achievement, personal experiences, and enthusiasm, searching for bright and personable people who are willing and committed to work in a cooperative environment.

Our clerkship program usually starts in late May and ends in early August.  To apply for the Kim & Chang Summer Clerkship Program, please submit a copy of your updated resume, cover letter, and official transcript by the end of February.
