I, upon verifying the provisions below, hereby consent to the processing of my personal information by Kim & Chang Law Offices(“K&C”) as follows:

1. Consent to the Collection and Use of the General Personal Information

Mandatory Collection and Use

  • 1. Collected Items
    • Name, photo, gender, date of birth, address, home telephone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, and nationality
    • Educational background (school name, major, year of entrance and year of graduation, graduation status, GPA, etc.), work experiences (company, title, responsible area, details of salary payment, date of commencement of employment and last date of employment, service period, evaluation on work attitude and performance results, etc.), qualification (language abilities, computer skills), other activities (club activity, outside activity, overseas training, etc.), history of awards and sanctions, history of military service
    • Result of the evaluation that K&C performs and any personal information that is described in any document which is submitted to K&C, including resume, letter of self-introduction, transcript, or similar.
  • 2. Purposes of Collection and Use

    Identification and confirmation of educational background and career of a candidate; management of previous application history; determination of hiring and notification thereof; confirmation of candidate’s intention to apply when additionally hiring employees, etc.

  • 3. Period of Retention and Use

    Unless otherwise obliged to preserve your personal information by applicable laws and regulations, K&C retains and uses your personal information until the above purposes of collection and use are attained. However, the period of retention and use for attaining the purposes of collection and use will not exceed 3 years from the date of application.

You may refuse the collection and use of personal information as set forth above. However, if you refuse such collection and use, your job application may not be accepted by K&C.

Optional Collection and Use

  • 1. Collected Items
    • Veterans compensation information, etc.
  • 2. Purposes of Collection and Use

    Use as reference materials for review of hiring a candidate, including confirming whether the candidate is eligible for employment assistance under the Act on the Honorable Treatment of and Support for Persons, Etc. of Distinguished Service to the State

  • 3. Period of Retention and Use

    Unless otherwise obliged to preserve your personal information by applicable laws and regulations, K&C retains and uses your personal information until the above purposes of collection and use are attained. However, the period of retention and use for attaining the purposes of collection and use will not exceed 3 years from the date of application.

You may refuse the collection and use of personal information as set forth above. However, if you refuse such collection and use, the relevant items may not be considered as reference materials for the review of your application.

2. Consent to the Collection and Use of the Unique Identification Information

Optional Collection and Use

  • 1. Collected Items

    (if a candidate is a foreign national) foreigner registration number, and passport number

  • 2. Purposes of Collection and Use

    Identification and confirmation of a candidate

  • 3. Period of Retention and Use

    Unless otherwise obliged to preserve your unique identification information by applicable laws and regulations, K&C retains and uses your unique identification information until the above purposes of collection and use are attained. However, the period of retention and use for attaining the purposes of collection and use will not exceed 3 years from the date of application.

You may refuse the collection and use of unique identification information as set forth above. However, if you refuse such collection and use, the relevant items may not be considered as reference materials for the review of your application.

3. Consent to the Collection and Use of the Sensitive Information

Mandatory Collection and Use

  • 1. Collected Items

    Health-related information including pre-employment health checkup result, medical history, disability, disability grade, and disease and injury information

  • 2. Purposes of Collection and Use

    Review of hiring a candidate, compliance with the Act on the Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, etc.

  • 3. Period of Retention and Use

    Unless otherwise obliged to preserve your sensitive information by applicable laws and regulations, K&C retains and uses your sensitive information until the above purposes of collection and use are attained. However, the period of retention and use for attaining the purposes of collection and use will not exceed 3 years from the date of application.

You may refuse the collection and use of sensitive information as set forth above. However, if you refuse such collection and use, your job application may not be accepted by K&C.

If you provide personal information of a third party including your family members (hereinafter, the “Family Members, etc.”) to K&C, you, before providing such information, should fully explain to the Family Members, etc. that their personal information will be provided to K&C, and provided items, purposes of provision (if K&C transfers such information to a third party again, including the contents related thereto), and period of retention and use by K&C and then obtain their consent. By signing this Consent Form or consenting electronically, you represent that you explained the above to the concerned Family Members, etc. and obtained legitimate consent from them.
